In order to facilitate your advanced studies with an eye on portfolio development I would like you to identify potential projects for your advanced studies, create a proposal and schedule and submit it for approval. Your goal is an eye catching demo reel, portfolio and/or website that can be used to market your skills and abilities. Research artists, designers and developers who's work and style you admire, analyzing others career pathway's can help guide our own navigation.
This advanced course is flexible for you to guide your skill development in the area of your choice. Identify potential projects, techniques and methods that interest you. Your goal is to demonstrate mastery of design theory, application and apply the creative process to develop your own creative works.
Semester Project Planning Assignment:
- Identify a subject and study focus for the remaining time in the course for your self.
- Identify and provide details for 3 large and 2 medium scale projects for your area of study.
- Provide examples of finished work or identify similar results from other developers that you would like to see in your own portfolio. Provide references and links when possible.
- Create a schedule to plan and map out time for each project to carry through to end of the course.
- Accommodate time to update your print portfolio or create a demo reel as a final project towards the end of the course.
- Email details to me by Wednesday for approval and discussion.
